The level depends on the system in which organic bentonite powder is to be used. For paints and printing inks, typical levels are between 0.2 and 2.0%(dry)(organic bentonite powder based on total system weight). In oil based drilling fluids, level range between 2.0% and 4.0%, In grease, quantities range between 8% and 15%.
