Melanotan II developed at the University of Arizona is a synthetic analog of the naturally occurring melanocortin peptide hormone alpha-
melanocyte stimulating hormone (α -MSH) that in usage has been shown to have melanogenesis (tanning) and aphrodisiac effects in preliminary
