Usage: N,N'-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide is a carbodiimide used to couple amino acids during peptide synthesis. N,N'-Dicyclohexylcarbodiimide is used as a dehydrating agent for the preparation of amides, ketones , nitriles as well as in the inversion and esterification of secondary alcohols. |
