The separation filter element is the second-stage filter element in the filter separator, and its function is to further separate the moisture in the aviation coal.
working principle
The commonly used separation filter element is made of Teflon spray net (200 mesh stainless steel mesh) and has good hydrocarbon-hydrophobic properties.
When the oil flows from the outside to the inside through the separation filter element, the small water droplets coming out of the coalescing filter element stay on the surface of the separation filter element until they meet with other water droplets to form larger-sized water droplets, which are settled under the action of gravity. In the sump, the jet coal passes through the filter element and enters the downstream, thus achieving the purpose of oilwater separation.
