Message: | The Common-mode inductor from EHC using cores of nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy material has the characteristics of high permeability and low loss. When the inductance of the common-mode inductor is greater, the proportion of the inductance to the effective permeability(μe) is better . For the same core, the higher the permeability(L), the bigger the inductance(μe). So choosing nanocrystalline material to make the common-mode inductor core can greatly decrease the size of magnetic core. Especially for the condition of large current and high power, our common-mode inductor core is highly cost effective. And common mode inductor core’s performance is no less than that of ferrite, but it’s price is lower than that of ferrit.Generally the effective permeability of ferrite is at around ten thousand, however, the effective permeability of superfine crystalline alloy can reach eighty to one hundred thousand. Under the same requested inductance, the latter magnetic core size is only 1/8 ~ 1/10 of the former, and the unit price of the latter is about1/ 4 to 1/5 of the former. Obviously, nanocrystalline materials is more competitive. With the same size and same number of coil, saturation resistance of common-mode inductor core using nanocrystalline materials is about 2.5 times of that of ferrit. In the whole, wide band has a good noise attenuation performance, and smaller inductance is the best solution for small volume light weight design, and improves the reliability of products. |
