Message: | Adenosine deaminase (ADA, EC 3.5.4.4) is widely distributed in various tissues of human body, with the highest content in thymus, spleen and other lymphoid tissues, and low in liver, lung, kidney and skeletal muscle. The activity of ADA in blood is 40-70 times higher than that in serum. The enzyme activity of T lymphocyte is higher than that of B lymphocyte. ADA gene was located on chromosome 20 and showed genetic polymorphism. There were three kinds of isozymes: Adai, ada1 + CP and Ada2. The distribution of ADA isozymes was different in various tissues and cells. Ada1 + CP was dominant in spleen, red blood cells, lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils. Ada1 + CP was dominant in liver, lung, pancreas, kidney and bone. Ada2 was only present in monocytes, but not detected in other tissues and cells.
Adenosine deaminase provided by Desheng is lyophilized powder or solution, which can be stored for at least one year at - 20 ℃, longer at - 80 ℃ and purity of more than 90% (detected by SDS-PAGE). If you need help, you can consult us or provide samples. |
