Message:Luminol, also known as luminol, can detect a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide. It is usually used as the substrate of peroxidase for various biochemical detection, with high sensitivity and easy automation. Among them, ECL luminol is often used in Western blot WB experiment. Western blot Western Blot is similar to DNA blot hybridization Southern Blot or RNA blot hybridization Northern Blot hybridization method, but WB method uses polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and the detected object or imprinted object is protein. The protein or polypeptide sample is separated by page and transferred to the carrier nitrocellulose film. The solid carrier adsorbs the protein with non covalent bond to ensure its activity. The protein reacts with the antibody as antigen, and then reacts with the enzyme or isotope labeled second antibody. The protein component of the specific target gene expression is detected by substrate coloration or autoradiography. This technique is also widely used to detect protein expression. Of course, in addition to luminol ECL luminescent solution detection, WB experiment can also use other color development methods, such as substrate DAB color development or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay with new Trinder's reagent, Desheng has luminol, color development substrates toos, Maos and so on.
