Treatment of topical infections of the skin, furuncui, burns, ulcus, infected wounds, abscass, impetigo, intertrigo, secondary infected eczema ulcus cruise as well as in the prevention of infections.
Adverse Effects:
Penicillin ointment applied in optimal amount are relatively well tolerated. Allergic reactions (exanthema, resh or urticaria) may occur at the site of application, but they will disappear after the cessation of the therapy
Action:
Penicillin ointment is effective against all microorgan-isms susceptible to penicillin. Maximal concentration of penicillin at the site of infections is reached by the topical application, which could not be achieved by general treatment (oral or parenteral). The process of healing is accelerated by relatively small quantities of penicillin.
Use in Pregnancy and Nursing Mothers:

Contra-indications:

Dosage and Administration:
Dermatologic ointment: Apply in a thin layer to the affected area 2-3 times daily. Cover with a sterile dressing in order to avoid contamination of the affected area.
